Hi to all. Well I am now a grandmother of 4 beautiful, talented and successful grandchildren. My 2 sons, whom I'm very proud of, have made a very successful and wealthy lifestyle for their families. As for myself, when I left high school I went directly to the DuPont company as a teletype operator. I stayed there until I was expecting my 1st son. I was fortunate enough to stay home with my children until I started in the jewelry business as a manager. I was fortunate enough to achieve my GIA certification and also a certification from the Diamond Council of America. Both of these certs put me in the field of working with loose diamonds and designing jewelry and mostly rings. I traveled within 4 states doing diamond shows much to my delight. My husband, Carl and I have traveled to at least 17 foreign countries and also throughout the United States. 2 of my favorites were China and Egypt. We are both retired now and live at the beach. Health wise I had a major bout with cancer, so far so good. Other than that, Carl and I continue to travel as much as we can and spend time with Carl's grand daughter and my 4 grand kids. |
